Located in the Amakhala Game Reserve, this lodge is set on the banks of Bushman’s River. It features an outdoor pool, and luxurious tent chalets with panoramic views of the plains.

HillsNek Safaris has spacious tents with a private bathroom and an outside shower. Each room is elegantly decorated with wooden furniture, and offers a TV, a safety deposit box and a coffee maker.

Guests can have their dinner while enjoying the African sunset, or use the barbecue facilities. The lodge’s bar serves refreshing drink.

The Amakhala Game Reserve hosts an abundant of wild animals and birds. HillsNek Safaris organizes wildlife experiences on game drives, night drives, walking safaris and boat cruises.

This malaria-free lodge is located 70 km outside Port Elizabeth, where guests will find warm water beaches and a selection of water sport activities.

Travel information
Directions to HillsNek Safaris:

- Take the N2 towards Grahamstown.
- Continue on the N2 and pass the Shamwari and Amakhala Game Reserve exits.
- At the Woodbury Lodge sign board, turn right off N2.
- Proceed under thatched entrance to sliding gate.
- Press the white button and enter the reserve.
- Drive approximately 600 metres and keep right when the road splits.
- Follow the signs to the "Conservation Centre".
- At the green building "Conservation Centre", enter through gate and park your vehicle.
- Your ranger will be waiting to escort you to the lodge.
