Protea Hotel Island Club is situated in one of the fastest growing business and residential areas in the Cape with 24-hour security. This 23-room hotel consists of deluxe rooms split between 2 blocks - the Majorca and La Savina - offering views of either the canal or breathtaking views of Table Mountain. All rooms are furnished with timber flooring and an open plan bathroom with frosted glass panels.
The Protea Hotel Island Club also offers easy access to Canal Walk Shopping Centre, the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere.
Food & beverageThe breakfast room serves a full Protea breakfast daily from 07:00 to 10:00, with amazing views of the canal and shopping complex. Approximately 20 people can be accommodated inside, while another 20 are catered for on the terrace.
The cake and coffee shop becomes a bar and lounge area from 11:00 until 22:00 daily.
Travel information
By Car (from Cape Town International Airport):
- Follow the signs via the N2 towards Cape Town and proceed onto the off-ramp, signposted for the N7, towards Goodwood / Epping.
- Proceed until you see signs for the N1 Cape Town.
- Exit at Sable Road junction and follow the road until the signs direct you to Protea Island Club.
Cancellation Policy
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Deposit Policy
100 percent of the first night will be charged at least 7 days prior to arrival.
Children and Extra Bed Policy
All children are welcome.
