Travel information
Directions from Cape Town to Mont Rochelle:

- Follow the signs out of Cape Town to the N1.
- Follow the N1 towards Paarl/Franschhoek.
- Take exit 47 (sign posted as turn-off Klapmuts/Stellenbosch/Wellington).
- Turn right onto the R44 (pass Butterfly World on the left), go across the four way stop.
- Turn left onto the R45 (sign posted Franschhoek), until you get to a T-junction (still R45).
- Turn right onto the R45 (via Simondium) towards Franschhoek.
- Drive into Franschhoek Main Street (called Huguenot street)
- Take the first right turn, into Cabriere street.
- Follow the road around the bend, continue along Cabriere street.
- Continue over 2 stop streets
- At the 3rd stop street the road forks, follow the right hand fork to the next stop sign.
- Turn right at the stop, now you are leaving the village.
- Continue with this road over a bridge till you get to Mont Rochelle security gate.
- From here follow the road up the hill, turn left at the blue Mont Rochelle board, till you get to the hotel.
