Description
The Alpine Inn Hotel’s main building is a traditional old Cape Dutch style house, nestled in the tranquil Garden Route area of South Africa.

Guests can chose from cottages, suites, apartments and private suites for Newlyweds as well as accommodation for family.

Alpine Inn features a Tea Garden, a cosy bar, and a German Restaurant. Other facilities include a Conference Centre and an exclusive Beauty Salon.

Guests can enjoy the great outdoors, experience strawberry picking, horse riding and a bird sanctuary. The Inn is located directly opposite the entrance of the renowned Fancourt Golf Estate and is 7 km from both the George Airport and the historic town of George.

Hotel information
There are 3 conference venues available at Alpine Inn, which can accommodate up to 45 guests.

The hotel can also cater for up to 500 guests for large social functions, including weddings and corporate events.

The beauty salon has also opened its doors and its services include the branch of Advanced Hair Studio in George.


Travel information
By Car:
- From the N2, take the George Airport off-ramp onto the R404 passing the airport on your left and continue straight on the R404 towards Oudtshoorn.
- After 6 km, on the right-hand side, pass the factory, SAB breweries, and the Fancourt Hotel & Golf Estate.
- You will find us opposite the estate on the left-hand side.

- From the Outeniqua Pass or George city centre, follow the signs for Fancourt Hotel & Golf Estate.
- You will find us opposite the estate on the right-hand side.

Room Types
New additions to our choice of accommodation include the environmentally friendly Garden Cottages (equipped with Solar-powered geysers) each with their own patio overlooking the newly landscaped pool area.

The main building offers a selection of rooms and there are other units spread over the premises. All units feature private parking for your convenience.

The units range from luxury suites, double and single rooms and larger family units. All open onto their own terraces, have private entrances and are fully equipped with fridge, television and DVD sound systems (allowing for IPod and USB connectivity). A selection of DVD movies are available for rental at Reception.

Each unit is elegantly furnished and features the unique characteristic style and charm of traditional German hospitality…..

Single Room
Single rooms are stylishly furnished and decorated with beautiful murals and en-suite bathrooms. Access is private, with off-road parking very close to your room.

2 Bedroom Self Catering Garden Apartment
This two bedroom, two bathroom garden cottage is stylish furnished and fully equipped. The Cottage is set in a small private garden featuring a build in braai facility. Private entrance and off-road parking inside the own yard. Max Occupancy: 4 adults/children Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel for the 3rd and 4th persons sharing the unit.

Honeymoon Suite
The honeymoon suite is very spacious in a romantic setting, decorated and furnished to enhance the romantic mood. This luxurious self-catering unit is fully equipped. From the large terrace you can enjoy a stunning view of the Outeniqua Mountains, in the evening you can enjoy a sun downer or a Braai on the build in \"Jetmaster\". Parking is off-road and closed to the Unit. Max Occupancy: 6 adults/children Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel for persons sharing the unit.

Double Room with Pool View
One bedroom pool cottages are located around the swimming pool. Each unit has its private balcony, facing the landscaped pool deck. The cottages are equipped with Solar Hot Water systems for your convenience. These units feature Queen size beds and are ideal for golfers or business guests. Bathrooms are en-suite. Private Entrance with off-road parking close to Units.
