Nwanedi Country Manor offers deluxe country-style accommodation among the estate’s Shiraz vineyards. Set near Drakenstein Mountains, its restaurant features wine tasting events and regional dishes made from homegrown ingredients.

All rooms have homely touches which include all-wood furniture and fabrics decorated in earthy red colours. Each one has a comfortable over-stuffed armchair and a flat-screen TV with access to multilingual channels.

Nwanedi Country Manor also functions as a work wine farm and its staff can organise tours of the wine-making process. A picnic basket can be prepared and outdoor excursions to the nearby dam can be organised.

Nwanedi Country Manor is a 10-minute drive from Paarl town centre. Cape Town is a 40-minute drive away.

Travel information

From Cape Town:

- Travel north on N1 towards Paarl
- Take Klapmuts (R44) off ramp and travel on R44 towards Wellington for 15km
- At the four-way stop intersection, take right onto R45 towards Paarl for 2km.
- Pass the Snake Park sign and take the left turning into Nuwedrif Road at Nwanedi Signs.

From the Huguenot Tunnel:

- Travel south to Cape Town on NI
- Immediately after the Huguenot Tunnel Toll-gate take off-ramp and travel across highway northwards.
- Continue without deviation past Nederburg, past 'Spilo Corner' (R301) to T junction with Main Road
- Travel right for 2/3 kilometers and turn right onto R45 to Malmesbury for two kilometers
- Pass the school on left and take the right onto Nuwedrif Road at Nwanedi signs.
