Situated on the historic Bloemendal farm, Paddabult Country House offers luxurious accommodation surrounded by lush vineyards at the backdrop of the Boland Mountains. Dating back from 1692, guests will enjoy its boutique pastoral experience.
The self-catering cottages are located on the hillside and open out on to outdoor patios. They are all equipped with modern flat-screen TVs.

Travel informationFrom the N1:
- Pass the 1st Stellenbosch (Klipheuwel) turnoff.
- Take the R44 / Klapmuts turnoff from the N1 (Exit 47).
- Turn right and drive towards Klapmuts (pass under the bridge).
- Cross over the first intersection (the R101) (less than 1 km from off ramp).
- Turn left into the road to Franschhoek and the R45 (less than 1 km from the R 101 intersection).
- Follow the signs to Backsberg.
- Pass Backsberg and drive towards Franschhoek for another 2 km.
- You will see the gates that mark the entrance to Bloemendal on your left, where you can turn in.
If you come from Paarl:
- take the R45 to Franschoek.
- Drive 6.1 km and turn right on the Klapmuts road (Vrede en Lust wine farm).
- Drive 2 km and turn right at the Bloemendal gate (two pillars with the Malherbe family crest)

Well-appointed, self-catering cottages with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One room with a double bed and the other two single beds.
