Description

Offering stunning views of the Drakenstein and Simonsberg Mountains, the Clouds Estate offers 5-star luxury in the heart of the Stellenbosch/Franschhoek Winelands. Each elegant cottage or villa includes a private, covered patio or balcony.

Guests of the Clouds Estate Guest Villa and Cottages enjoy deluxe accommodation in a boutique vineyard setting. The villas and cottages are equipped with classic furnishing, spacious bathrooms, and fully-equipped kitchenettes.

The Clouds Estate has a grand outdoor pool under the shadow of the mountains. While relaxing on the terrace with clear views of the surrounding countryside, guests can enjoy the Estate’s own Clouds Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc wine

The Clouds located on the Helshoogte Pass, less than 6 km from central Stellenbosch. The Cape Town International Airport is less than 30 km from the Estate. Free parking is available.

Travel information
Directions from N2 and AIRPORT:

- From Cape Town, come along N2 to Somerset West
- Take the Baden Powell off-ramp (R310)
- Continue straight on R310 (past Spier) into Stellenbosch
- Continue along same road through Stellenbosch (along railway line on left)
- Drive until you get to Bird Street (a traffic light at a busy intersection, "Eikestad" Mercedes dealer on right)
- Cross over Bird Street traffic light (Friendly Grocer/Seven Eleven on your left)
- At first traffic light, turn right (R310 to Ida's Valley & Franschhoek) This is the Helshoogte Road
- Drive past Ida's Valley (on the left), and "Spar" Centre (on the right). Continue for approximately 6km
- For quite a long stretch there is nothing on either side of the road except mountains and veldt
- First place on right is Delaire Estate and Tokara Restaurant (on the left)
- Drive about 200m after Delaire and Tokara, Clouds Estate on the right opposite Alluvia & Glen Arum (green signboard with light)
- At the gate, press the intercom to Reception
